Radii Planet Group is committed to increasing knowledge in the wider construction industry through the use of RIBA-certified CPD sessions, designed to share our wealth of expertise in relation to the variety of materials, systems and solutions we have worked with for many years.
We currently have three CPD opportunities available for both online and in-person presentations:
Fire-Rated Glass and Door Specification Points
This CPD provides a specialised focus on all matters concerning fire rated compliance and safety. Attendees will improve their understanding of relevant legislation and how this needs implementing. They will also receive information on key specification requirements, testing and certifying solutions, as well as an overview of typical fire rated systems. Learn of other design considerations including CDM to aid the production of a fully compliant specification.
Architectural Glass and its capabilities in construction
This CPD has been developed to provide architects and design professionals with a big-picture view of the fundamental capabilities of glass when used not as a product, but as a building material; structurally, aesthetically, and for acoustic and fire rated performance.
Glass and Metal
This CPD covers both fire resistance and acoustic performance of glass systems. Protection against failing Part K and Part M regulation compliances are also discussed and illustrated.
Attendees will be able to increase awareness of four of the 10 RIBA core curriculum criteria: universal and inclusive design; health and safety; design, construction and technology engineering; and internal management.
