Mace is a global consultancy and construction firm who asked Radii AG to provide a highly complex and detailed specification for the internal glass partitioning work. Following its appointment, Radii AG worked with Roger Strik Harbour and Partners creating and fine-tuning drawings for a range of partitioning and structural glass elements, including sub-basement laboratories, balustrading, atrium glazing and offices.

solution.

For the basement laboratories, Radii AG used demountable double glazed full length partitions with two layers of 15mm toughened glass to reach heights in excess of three meters. The partitioning framework was set within the steel grid structure, ensuring an industrial look and for the fill-height atrium glazing, 19.5mm toughened laminated glass was used. Which also required carefully spaced holes for securing attenuators that control airflow within the building. All glass balustrades were also designed and installed by Radii AG.

    Project insights.

    Working with Roger Strik Harbour and Partners, Radii AG mapped out an effective plan to ensure a smooth instillation with all partitioning base fixtures concealed in the concrete floor, in the basement. 

    The project was recognised for its outstanding work and high quality service winning an FIS Award in 2015.
