THE CLIENT.

This new headquarters at Leeds’ City Square House unites previously separate teams into a 58,000 sq ft, five-floor workspace designed by ID:SR and delivered by Overbury. The building combines enclosed offices, collaborative zones and amenity-led areas, with a strong focus on natural light, acoustic comfort and wellbeing. These priorities set the stage for our work on the project, ensuring spaces support both collaboration and concentration.

OUR SOLUTION.

Working through our Northern contracting team, we collaborated closely with ID:SR and the main contractor Overbury to deliver a glazing package that responded to the project’s focus on acoustic performance, natural light and visual clarity. Spanning five floors, the scheme required careful coordination to accommodate four different ceiling heights, ensuring every glazed elevation aligned seamlessly with the surrounding architecture.

Our scope combined detailed design development with the manufacture and installation of Radii’s single- and double-glazed systems, including Linear 25 (Rw 39 dB) and Parallel 50 (Rw 45 dB), each integrated with surface-mounted deflection heads to manage building movement while maintaining uninterrupted sightlines.

The package also included over 80 Hogan single leaf doors (Rw 38 dB), designed to provide acoustic privacy without sacrificing openness, and fitted with Radii’s own extruded push–pull handles for clarity and consistency.

Partitions and doors were finished in our Rio Rio feature banding, complemented by a luxurious Pearl Gold powder-coated framework and reeded manifestation designs that introduced visual privacy while preserving the light, calm atmosphere central to the project’s interior concept.

Our contribution supports the project’s broader focus on sustainability and wellbeing, aligning with its BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications, while helping deliver a workspace recognised as a Mix Awards North 2025 finalist for Project of the Year – Workplace Interiors.
