The Digi-Tech Factory is a multi-million-pound learning space that houses all of Norwich City College’s full- and part-time technology, engineering and design courses across four state-of-the-art floors.
Planet’s Midlands contracting team joined the project to manufacture and install our popular double-glazed PURE100 (54dB Rw) partition screens to the building’s study rooms and labs — combining with the external curtain walling to facilitate the passage of light throughout the space.
Furthermore, FirePro Ei60 fire rated screens were utilised to offer access protection around the building’s stairwell on Levels 1 to 3 along with three FirePro doors.
The Digi-Tech Factory opened in 2021, with the innovative design winning two regional RIBA East Awards.
