Bi-Folding Doors.

Folding doors open the full width of an opening while taking almost no floor space, which suits freestanding pods, single-person focus rooms and booths, and any opening where the layout around it is tight.

Folding Single Doors

Our folding doors use the same profiles as the rest of our door range, most often the Hogan suite, so a folding door sits alongside the swing and sliding doors elsewhere in your project without a visual break. The profile is selected to suit the size, ironmongery and operation of each door.

We have tested both configurations, with bi-fold doors achieving Rw 32 dB and tri-fold doors Rw 31 dB. These results relate to specific tested build-ups, and profiles vary with size, glass specification and ironmongery, so performance for your configuration should be confirmed with us at design stage.

Non-Acoustic Folding Walls

The same approach can be extended to longer runs to form folding walls.

These are space dividers, not acoustic solutions. We do not offer them where sound separation is a requirement, which rules out most meeting and focus applications.

They work best where a space is designed to change through the day: a reception area that opens out for a launch or a client event, a café or social space that becomes an all-hands, a showroom that expands when it needs to and closes down when it does not. Used this way, a folding wall gives a floorplate more than one life without committing the building to either arrangement.
