An Environmental Product Declaration is a third-party verified document that transparently reports the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle, from raw material extraction through manufacture, transport, installation and end of life.
EPDs provide quantified environmental impact potential, resource and energy use, and waste generation, to support informed decision-making for specifiers.
We have published a library of EPDs covering our partitioning and door systems. They are available in our downloads section and in the International EPD System library.
An EPD is data, not a rating. It tells you what the impact is across different environmental parameters.
EPDs matter when a project is targeting certification. Sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, LEED and SKA reward the availability of verified environmental data, and several credits set thresholds that EPDs are used to evidence. Which credits, and what else is needed alongside them, is covered on our BREEAM, LEED, SKA and WELL page.
EPDs are available across our aluminium framed glazed partitioning and door systems, covering both the Radii and Planet ranges.

Our FirePro range carries EPDs across both single glazed fire rated partitions and glazed door systems, spanning E and EI classifications from 30 to 120 minutes.

FirePro systems support fire compartmentation requirements while keeping the architectural benefits of glazed partitioning. Installation is carried out in accordance with our Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) certification, which covers competence and quality control in the installation of fire rated products.

Our Dovetail timber framed partition systems and European Oak timber pivoting doors carry third-party verified EPDs. These declarations represent the worst-case scenario across the configurations they cover, which means the figures are conservative rather than optimistic.

Each declaration sets out the system boundaries, life cycle modules, impact categories and assumptions. Also, a short interpretation of the results.
EPDs are governed by rules and standards that mandate independent external verification. Ours are produced in accordance with the Product Category Rules defined by an independent EPD Programme Operator and developed to ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2. These standards set the framework for producing verified environmental declarations for construction products to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Quantified life cycle data helps architects, consultants and contractors understand the impacts associated with manufacture, transport, installation and end of life. This supports whole-life carbon assessment and supports certification schemes that recognise environmental disclosure. What an EPD cannot do is deliver a credit on its own: thresholds are calculated across the whole project, and product-specific declarations score differently to industry-average ones.
