THE CLIENT.

Tech company Celonis’ newly updated Executive Briefing Centre in Munich, Germany is designed to be a flexible, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.

The fit out uses a philosophy of minimal intervention to reconfigure the internal space and showcase the building’s structural elements — a reflection of the company’s work revealing key information as part of their data mining operations.

THE CHALLENGE.

The design placed a focus on ‘transparency’ to mirror Celonis’ approach to work in data. Partitions and doors therefore required minimal framework profiles. Furthermore, the refurbished space offered a challenge regarding installation tolerances from the existing floor.

OUR SOLUTION.

Our experienced team at our Düsseldorf-based Germany subsidiary Radii GmbH collaborated closely with Gensler on a glazed partition package for meeting rooms, collaborative suites, and customer innovation areas on Levels 4 to 6.

The partition system comprised our single-glazed Linear 25 solution (Rw 39 dB), complemented by Hogan glazed pivoting doors (Rw 38 dB) with clearances varying from 2410 to 3100mm, featuring minimal frames for a sleek, modern design. Additionally, we incorporated timber doors with adjacent reeded manifestation side panels.

To address the unique site conditions and floor tolerance challenges, we provided a telescopic head track that ensured precise installation.

The design also included 'floating' tech panels that seamlessly bridged the Linear 25 track and 100mm black matte laminated timber panels, all framed by a subtle surrounding shadow gap.
