THE CLIENT.

Castleforge, a property investment firm known for blending heritage with modernity, sought to refurbish an office building in Bremen for their ClockWise brand. The goal was to create a workspace that combined vintage aesthetics with contemporary office needs, emphasising both style and functionality.

THE CHALLENGE.

The project presented several challenges. The design, led by Soda Studio, required partitions that were both acoustically efficient and visually appealing, while also integrating modern technology like keyless access. Additionally, the building’s uneven flooring demanded a flexible solution for installation, and safety requirements for escape routes added complexity to the door system design.

OUR SOLUTION.

To meet these challenges, our German subsidiary  Radii GmbH provided Linear 50 single glazed screens with a black matte finish and ‘Rio’ feature bars, ensuring both acoustic performance (Rw 39 dB) and aesthetic cohesion with the adjacent drywalls. For keyless access, Aperio handles were integrated with Hogan glazed doors, also offering high sound insulation (Rw 38 dB).

The uneven flooring was addressed using telescopic head tracks that provided up to +/- 25 mm of adjustment, ensuring a seamless fit. For the escape routes, we fitted six doors with inverted openers, linking them to the building’s system for safety compliance.

By tailoring our solutions to meet both design and technical needs, we helped create a functional and stylish office environment that blended vintage charm with modern performance.
