The Client.

The 13-17 Fitzroy Street project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of a commercial office space in London. Designed by architects Squire & Partners and executed by leading contractor 8Build, it aims to create a cutting-edge workspace for end users with a modern, open-plan layout while maintaining flexibility and acoustic performance.

OUR SOLUTION.

Radii AG was engaged in a comprehensive glazing package for the renovation of the 15 Fitzroy building, focusing on the transformation of the space from the Lower Ground to the 4th Floor. Our team was tasked with a range of key deliverables designed to improve both the aesthetic appeal and safety standards of the building.

One of the central elements of the project was the complete renovation of the existing glazed atrium. The atrium, which serves as a focal point of the building, was lowered and reworked to modernize its design while maintaining a connection to the building’s architectural heritage. This transformation was pivotal in enhancing natural light flow and providing a more open, inviting atmosphere for the building’s occupants.

Additionally, we installed balustrade glazing for the new internal staircases and walkway bridges. This design not only adds to the visual impact of the space but also ensures that the structure meets modern safety standards. The seamless integration of the balustrade glazing provides a cohesive and contemporary feel across the entire multi-floor structure.

Finally, a critical aspect of the project was the installation of FirePro Ei60 rated door sets. These doors - designed by our in-house product development team as part of our Centre of Excellence - were selected and fitted to meet stringent safety requirements, ensuring that the building adheres to the latest fire protection regulations.
