The ‘Big Build’ is a multi-year, £60m development programme at the University of Brighton, aiming to revolutionise the student experience at their Moulsecoomb campus and breathe life into the local area through construction of multiple outstanding new buildings and facilities.

The centrepiece of this major redevelopment is a stunning new Business School, complete with triple-storey atrium, that now provides flexible and modern teaching and social areas for students and staff.

OUR SOLUTION.

Radii AG’s strong track record of providing innovative and sustainable atria glazing saw them work alongside Gilbert-Ash on this project to provide an extensive internal glazing package throughout the site.

Double glazed P100 screens (47dB Rw) were utilised for all three levels of the buildings internal atrium and to provide internal glass partitions and glazed office and meeting room fronts throughout the floorspace. Fully framed single glazed doors (36dB Rw) complemented the glass partition fronts.
