Kildean Business Park is one of Scotland’s greenest business parks and a significant trategic development for the wider Stirling area. With a goal to provide more than 400,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, all buildings are being developed with a goal of achieving a minimum of BREEAM ‘Excellent’ environmental standards.

Planet’s northern contracting office joined the fit out in the 75,000 sq ft M&G Building — expertly designed by Michael Laird Architects to be built with sustainability, well-being, inclusion and accessibility at its heart.

OUR SOLUTION.

Planet worked to manufacture and deliver our contemporary frameless PURE20 single glazed (40dB Rw) partition screens, used for meeting rooms and ‘think tank’ focus spaces, and PURE100 double glazed (54 dB Rw) screens that were utilised for tenant M&G’s boardroom.

These were complemented with glazed IsoPro pivoting doors — with a 54mm frame that is elegantly rebated to sit flush and provide clean lines throughout — both in slngle (36dB Rw) and double offset (31dB Rw) depending on access requirements.

All our internal design work was achieved with consideration to structural loading requirements and internal wind pressures, ensuring that the solution we delievered was fully SER compliant.

Finally, Environmental Product Declarations for Planet’s PURE partitions and IsoPro doors helped in the compilation of data for the client’s BREEAM submission for the building.
