PROJECT. OBJECTIVES

Client WWF

The Living Planet Centre is WWF’s brand-new purpose-built head office in Woking. It is built on a brownfield site next to the Basingstoke canal, ensuring minimal disruption to the existing environment.

Hopkins Architects and Willmott Dixon asked Planet Partitioning to provide specification for internal glass partitions in this two-storey 3,666 sqm building.

OUR
SOLUTION.

Planet supplied and installed the demountable glass partitions; downstairs for the meeting rooms and upstairs for the impressive open plan office, which allows natural light in and encourages trees to grow inside the building.

For the meeting rooms, Planet installed an electronic room booking system within PURE100 double glazed frameless glazed partitioning, so staff can book meeting rooms using a tablet interface. For all the meeting rooms, remote controlled integrated venetian blinds allow additional privacy as required. PURE100 double glazed partitioning also ensures all meeting rooms meet high acoustic performance requirements.

Planet also installed FireStop fire-rated glass partitioning and communal door sets to meet fire regulations throughout the building.
