Glazed partition and door installation in London with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity.

THE CLIENT.

Motability Operations’ new 25,000 sq ft location on the sixth floor of 22 Bishopsgate has a design that prioritises sustainability, incorporating natural colours and textures to create an inviting and environmentally conscious workspace.

Central to the project is a commitment to wellbeing in a way that reflects the company’s business and values and ensuring that the environment supports both physical and mental health. The space features a variety of meeting rooms in different sizes, enhancing accessibility and fostering collaboration among teams and clients alike.

OUR SOLUTION.

Radii’s solutions comprised our single glazed Linear 30 partitions (Rw 41 dB) and Hogan doors (Rw 38 dB). These were installed with our Rio feature banding and finished with reeded manifestation in places that required additional visual privacy.

Some meeting room doors were fitted with access control with all devices located in/on our tech panels, while Large C-shape door handles were specified to assist users with limited dexterity. Fully automatic FirePro Ei30 doors with access control were used for exit route protection.

THE INSTALLATION.

A notable highlight of our work at Motability Operations saw the Radii team oversee the seamless trade contractor coordination to manage the installation of tech panels. These contained integrated access control devices, room setting controls, booking consoles, and room signage that included braille plates for the visually impaired. Radii powder coated the tech panels in a finish to match the space’s solid partition walls.
